The Kings live to fight another day!

The A/B grades each played elimination finals at the weekend in front a 300+ crowd and both managed to bring home the bacon.

In a replay of the round 18 fixture the B grade took on 5th placed Plympton. After a couple of lapses of concentration in round 18 the Kings wanted to come out and prove there worth as a top 5 side. The B grade did exactly this and had a lead at every change to run out 30 point winners.

The A Grade where looking a tad sore leading into there clash with big Jim Pinkney and forward goal sneak Alex Holbrook pulling out late on Friday with niggling injuries. It was looking like it may have been a tough day in the office but the exact opposite occurred. In a blitzing first quarter the kings kicked 8 goals to Iggies 1. This margin remained constant for the next three quarters and the Kings finished with a winning margin of 54 points.

It has been over a decade since all three team featured in the second round of finals. This weekend the action will get underway at 1015am at Haslam with the Glamour’s taking on Scotch OC. The B Grade will be taking on Unley Jets at Kingswood Oval (Mitcham Girls High School) from 1215pm. And finally the A Grade will be at Seaton (Pedlar Reserve) taking on The Ramblers from 2.15pm.

The Kings would appreciate your support this weekend. So get out this Saturday and get around 1 or 2 or all 3 of the teams.
